This website is dedicated to highscores in Crash Mode in Burnout 2: Point of Impact. It lists the top 25 best known scores for each zone, best available videos and many other statistics.

Scores have been taken from the old www.superhighscore.com website, Xbox Live, www.cyberscore.net, burnout.videogamesrecords.net, www.youtube.com and other rankings, vids and records found on the World Wide Web.

Vixen420 had an idea for another community event some time ago and before i go into detail here is the info written by Vixen420: Crashers, make way for the latest community event: Sinktober!
  • Sinktober Event Banner
    • The goal of Sinktober is to gather as many players as possible to dust down rankings for sink glitches. They fell out of favor ever since they were removed from the regular leaderboards—that's why it's time to revive them and beat some old scores that have been around for almost a decade! The event will take place from October 1st to October 31st, so all scores must be achieved and submitted by 00:00 GMT on the last day. To spice things up a little, this event will take the form of a grand prix! Scoring will work as follows: WR: 10 2nd: 9 3rd: 8 4th: 7 5th: 6 6th: 5 7th: 4 8th: 3 9th: 2 10th: 1 Sink never achieved before: 15 At the end of the month, players who submitted scores over the course of the event will have points on each zone combined for a grand total. Everyone should be on an equal footing regardless of the consoles they own, that's why emulator scores are welcome! However, to keep things fair, emulator scores must be recorded live. Naturally, any score achieved on emulator won't count towards the WCR leaderboards, but that's still an option I wish to offer so everyone can join in. No sign-up is required, there is no order in which sinks should be done nor a minimum amount of sinks to perform. Just submit any score achieved over the month, if you are on the Discord server tag @Vixen and @Brainkiller007 or upload it to Youtube to have your video taken into account, and have fun! Whether a beginner/casual or advanced/competitive sinker, join us down the drain for Sinktober! List of confirmed sinks and platforms they work on: 2 – Coastal Crush (All) 4 – Pacific Peril (All) 9 – Freeway Fury (PS2) 11 – Late Arrival (All) 13 – Avalanche (PS2) 14 – Dam Buster (PS2) 15 – Ballistic Beach (PS2) 28 – Double Back Damage (GC/Xbox) 29 – Switch Back Shocker (GC/Xbox) (28 is not technically a sink, but the mechanic is identical.) PS: Emulator scores don't count towards the WCR leaderboards, they still count towards the event leaderboards and will consequently affect scoring. All scores will be listed and updated on the following Google Sheets:

    Nikcolin got 128,8 million on Heights Horror/27 and entered the Top-25 straight onto the 2nd place (previous PR 93,2mil), currently his best ranked PR! He also got 157,1 million on Ballistic Beach/15 and also entered the Top-25 on the 20th spot (previous PR 98,0mil). This takes the number of zones he appears on the Top-25 to 20. On the Overall Rankings he climbed from #14 to #13 and on the Totals he beat the 4,4 billion mark.

    The new strat on Sandstorm Shredder/7 slowly starts to roll out their scores on the Top-25. BurningICE got 128,4 million and entered the Top-25 on the 8th spot (previous PR 101,0mil). On the Overall Rankings he climbed from #35 onto #31.
