Scores have been taken from the old www.superhighscore.com website, Xbox Live, www.cyberscore.net, burnout.videogamesrecords.net, www.youtube.com and other rankings, vids and records found on the World Wide Web.

Waking up from my winter sleep i need to update a few scores since months. I apologize for the people waiting for so long, mostly for those who got scores for the database, but also for the ones checking for news. Already on December 9th Nikcolin got a new PR on Double Back Damage/28 with 165,7 million (previous PR 122,3mil).
  • Video Zone 28 - 165,7 million
    • On December 12th Crashfreak beat the best Gamecube 60hz video on Hairpin Havoc/10 and got 100,4 million. He aldready held the record before with a 97,3 million score done 6 and a half years ago.
  • Video Zone 10 - 100,4 million
  • Best GC 60Hz Vids
    • And usually i don't announce new scores for the non-glitch scoreboards, only if it is a new World Record. But in this case, as it is his first score on the website, Dime Lime joined us and got a 87,9 million score on Out of Control Tower/3. Welcome to the WCR.
  • Video Zone 3 - 87,4 million
  • Youtube Channel - Dime Lime
    • Those were all scores missing stil done in 2022. And now we come to the officially first PR achieved in 2023, and so far the only one. On January 5th BurningICE got 96,8 million on Long Distance Destruction/16, which is a PR for him.
  • Video Zone 16 - 96,8 million
    • Beside that LEEK701X got a few scores worth for the zones specific "Top 10 Vids" list, like a 6,9 million damage crash on Roadblock/19, or a 224,2 million score on Sprint Smash/17, which both got pretty close to his PR on those zones. On Sprint Smash/17 he also got a 218,7 million score and a 12,3 million damage onto the "Top 10 vids" list. You can find the links for those vids on the specific zone list. And that was all for now. We hope to see some more activity soon and are waiting for the first World Record happening in 2023.

    Hello News reader, after a few weeks without any PRs or records there was some actitvity this weekend. Assassin Sports got 114,7 million on Surf Shocker/21 and climbed from 23rd onto 9th place (previous PR 95,9mil). It is currently only his 2nd PR being placed in a Top-10. On the Overall Rankings he climbed from #18 to #17.
  • Video Zone 21 - 114,7 million
  • Top 25 - Surf Shocker/21
    • Nikcolin got Surf Shocker/21 also a go and got 112,0 million (previous PR 95,2mil). On the Top-25 he climbed from 24th onto 11th place. On Cross Traffic Crash/26 he got 84,9 million and entered the Top-25 on 16th place (previous PR 64,7mil), which is already his 22nd of 30 PRs placed in a Top-25. On the Overal Rankings he climbed from # 13 to #11 and on the Totals he beat the 4,5 billion mark.
  • Video Zone 21 - 112,0 million
  • Top 25 - Surf Shocker/21
  • Video Zone 26 - 84,9 million
  • Top 25 - Cross Traffic Crash/26
    • Crashfreak got 105,2 million on Glass Canyon/12 and beat the 3 years old best non-glitch video by 14k only (105,277mil vs 105,263mil), which was also already done by himself. You could call this a new non-glitch World Record, but as there is info of Drew22werDs PR being done without a glitch (113,9mil on the PS2), which unfortunately got no video, i will just leave it with this info.     For the 4th time within 5 weeks sparker599 improved his PR on Sandstorm Shredder/7. This time he could beat the 100 million mark and got 100,9 million (previous PR 98,9mil).

    And another good score on Sandstorm Shredder/7. LEEK701X got 149,9 million and jumped from 15th onto the 4th spot (previous PR 116,7mil). He also beat the 2 days old best Gamecube 50hz video from Brainkiller007 by 5 million (144,9mil). On the Totals he beat the 6,1 billion mark and is now missing a Top-10 spot on only 5 zones.

    Brainkiller007 got 144,9 million on Sandstorm Shredder/7 and climbed from 7th onto 5th spot (previous PR 132,5mil). He also beat the almost 9 years old best Gamecube 50hz video for that zone from Traperac by 10 million (134,1mil). On the Totals he finally beat the 7 billion mark ($7,005,433,736) and is only the 2nd Crasher after Crashfreak beating that mark.

    And we got another new sink World Record! Nikcolin got 89,2 million on Ballistic Beach/15 and beat the 3 months old record by Vixen420. Well, honestly there was only that 1 score before in that chart. Mainly cause the majority of the community doesn't own a Ps2, but also cause since sink glitches were removed from the default rankings, almost everyone stopped going for. That's btw also the reason this idea for the Sinktober Event was born, to get more attention back on those. Already yesterday LEEK701X missed a new sink WR on Late Arrival/11 with a 966,3 million score by only 9 million. Together with XtremePlays score from yesterday those are all scores so far for this month. Once in a while i will mention other scores which did not make it into the news, but also each Crasher, who joins the Sinktober Event this month. And for the strat guide i wanted to release today you will have to wait another day, as i just wanted to be lazy today. Stay tuned.

    The Sinktober Event just started and we have the first new sink World Record! XtremePlays got 1,790 billion on Freeway Fury/9 and beat the 8 years old record from Infinity G.R. (1,567 billion). He also achieved the highest ever damage on Crash Mode with 223,7 million.

    • Btw Vixen420 changed the point system for the Sinktober, cause the old one was a bit confusing. Just read the news from September 26th again to see the new point system. And for now you can use the sheet linked below to submit your scores, scores from there will be taken from that list and added to the main sheet, either by me or Vixen420. Tomorrow i will also add a small guide into sink strats. See ya.

    Sparker599 improved his PR on Sandstorm Shredder/7 for the 3rd time within a month. This time he got 98,9 million with the probably best score on this zone with a "short tarp" truck glitch (previous PR 92,7mil).
