This website is dedicated to highscores in Crash Mode in Burnout 2: Point of Impact. It lists the top 25 best known scores for each zone, best available videos and many other statistics.

Scores have been taken from the old www.superhighscore.com website, Xbox Live, www.cyberscore.net, www.vgr-fr.com, www.youtube.com and other rankings, vids and records found on the World Wide Web.

    The sink-glitches on Pacific Peril/4 have been added back to the rankings. For some people like Crashfreak or Maxi Crasher there are missing PRs due to the sink-glitch remove (PRs on Coastal Crush, Late Arrival, Switch Back Shocker). Keep that in mind when taking a look onto the overall rankings, totals, WR% and stars average.
    And if you wondered about the overall rankings only displaying the top-25 you can use those links to view the entire rankings. With the next update that will be fixed.

    Info about website: Currently Traperac is working on a update with improved menus, new features and other small fixes.
    Missing scores and damages for each zones vids section have been filled in. It would help if everyone can check his own scores and look for mistakes (car used, date, hz used, proof, etc.). Also if you find mistakes in other scores please tell me about (pm me, email me, skype me, etc.).

    You can also upload/send in your non-glitch PRs. There is currently no place to view them but maybe a non-glitch section will be added to each profile some day. And if there are enough scores even a small non-glitch scoreboard could be added.
    Also don't forget you can send in each new sink PR (sink scoreboard will be added in the next update).

    And another PR for BoneCrasherMania1 today. This time he got 109 million on Late Arrival/11 (old PR 95mil), 9 million away from entering the top-25.

    BoneCrasherMania1 got 398 million on Freeway Fury/9 and climbed from 14th to 4th place (old PR 279mil). He missed the World Record (according to WCR rules) cause of that white car, which can be seen at the 26th second in his vid.

    Sorry folks that things change again but after some days of discussion it lead to the conclusion that sink-glitches on Pacific Peril/4 will be added back. This may sound a little weird to allow 1 sink zone but not others. But there are a few reasons for that. Mainly because it is already used since 10 years and it got a deep part of crashing. Alot of older community members disliked the new sink zones cause they destroyed years old work/rankings and they were kind of boring compared to the good old flying-truck-glitches.
    I hope everyone is ok with that decision cause after the red-wall-glitch was revealed on the Ps2 something had to change.

    For the other sink zones a small scoreboard will be added under a zones top-25 ranking. It will list the 10 best known scores but they won't be added to the overall rankings. So happy crashing!

    Now the new PRs/scores which happened the last days:

    BoneCrasherMania1 got 65 million on Avalanche/13 and climbed from 20th to 17th place (old PR 60mil).

    • MKrawnis improved his PR on Glass Canyon/12 (68mil/old PR 66mil).

  • Video Zone 12 - 68 million


    • MKrawnis also got the 1st sink-glitch on Freeway Fury/9 (463mil) with the red wall-glitch which only works on the Ps2. That score was beaten by EtMerde A, he got 1,567 billion.

  • Video Zone 9 - 1,567 billion


    • Anthony Burnout got 62 million on Dam Buster/14 without a glitch! This beats the old best non-glitch vid from hddr3 (48mil). Honestly it is very hard to tell if maybe a small FPG happened (flatbed made a fast move, can be seen at 0:28 in the vid).

    • EtMerde A got a new PR on Sandstorm Shredder/7 (39mil/old PR 38mil).

    • Anthony Burnout got 51 million on Pacific Peril/4 and is currently ranked 5th there.

    I will keep it short: Sink-glitches were removed from the WCR (Zone 2,4,11 and 29) so for Pacific Peril/4 most of you will need to get a new PR without the sink-glitch.
    New best sink-glitch vids/scores will be announced in the news from now on and a small ranking for sink-glitches will be added soon. But they won't affect the overall ranking, totals, etc.

    Big news for all crash mode fans! The new WCR website is ready! A big thanks to Traperac for creating the website and Magicbart (www.vgr-fr.com) for hosting it!
    There are still things which need to be fixed/worked on or added (sink-glitch charts), that will happen in the next days/weeks. From now on news and rankings won't be updated on the forum anymore. Also don't wonder if updates got slow lately or will be slow the next days. Stay tuned!

    After the red-wall glitch was revealed (read more on the forum) there is currently a discussion going on how the WCR will continue. For now the plan is to remove sink-glitches from the WCR or to create seperate rankings. As soon as its known how it will continue it will be announced in the news. Temporarily new sink-glitch PRs won't be updated.

    My personal opinion:
    The red wall glitch is only working on a Ps2 and i'm not going to continue rankings for just like 4 or 5 people. Cause it looks like it will go into this direction. Also i already didn't liked the "new" sink zones which were found this year cause they destroyed years old rankings. And a huge part of the fun of this game are the glitches where a truck sends other vehicles flying. At least for me and alot of prior members of this community.

    And another PR for Crashfreak today. He got 110 million on Avalanche/13 and entered the top-25 on 2nd place (old PR 40mil). Almost a new World Record cause he missed 3 multipliers!
    His AP went down from 18,13 to 17,20, he passed Wave and is currently the #9.
