Scores have been taken from the old www.superhighscore.com website, Xbox Live, www.cyberscore.net, www.vgr-fr.com, www.youtube.com and other rankings, vids and records found on the World Wide Web.

Last week on our Discord channel the idea was born, to stream a weekend of crashing/Burnout 2 to collect money for a website update. The idea turned quickly into reality and already on the last weekend of June this 1st WCR Stream Event will happen on Twitch. Right now there are still a lot of stream slots to be filled, but a few Crashers already confirmed their attendance. As this also can be seen as a celebration of 15 years of World Crash Rankings, i invite herewith every Crasher, who was part of the WCR in the past or still is, to fill a stream slot.     Crashfreak got 142,8 million on Coastal Crush/2 and beat the best non-glitch vid by 4 million, which was done by himself 3,5 years ago (138,5mil). It was about time someone beat the 140 million mark on a non-glitch score, cause often the lucky 19 multiplier was missing (red "parked" Pickup). By the way Crashfreak once even achieved a 143 million score, but due to the cam-glitch he couldn't record a vid.

    Wave got 260,8 million on Coastal Crush/2 and climbed from 16th onto 9th place (previous PR 241,3mil). It was his 1st PR since almost 4 years and he is the 10th Crasher in 2020 with getting at least 1 PR. Btw it was also his 1st PR ever done on the Xbox version.

    Something, which just happens way too little in all those years, are good scores coming like out of nowhere. Like for example someone unknown uploads a video on Youtube with a very good score. So this happened just like over a week ago. A guy called Andrew got a 591 million score on Out of Control Tower/3 which puts him onto the 15th place.

    With that score for the 1st time the whole Top-25 on that zone is filled with scores above 500 million. It would have happened already before, if the XBL scoreboards weren't reset at the very beginning, which made 2 scores disappear. Both Niterider88 and Jean Emmanuel already had a score above 500 million. Also keep in mind, that there are people out there who also achieved that, but they never submitted it to any ranking or told anyone on the internet. I am also pretty sure, that people copied strats from watching Youtube videos and also got good scores, but regrettably they never shared it.

    The 1st half of 2020 seems also to be a good one for CoastalCrusher. He already got his 5th PR + this time he came up with the 1st trailer-strat score for On Ramp Onslaught/23. He got 212,0 million and climbed from 19th onto 7th place, getting rid of his worst WCR position (previous PR 125,7mil). Cause he entered the Top-10 there, the only missing zone without a Top-10 spot for him is being Dam Buster/14.
    On the Totals he beat the 5,8 billion mark.

    The next 2 PRs for Mr. Vette. On Out of Control Tower/3 he got 421,7 million and on Coastal Crush/2 he got 190,9 million missing the Top-25 there for 3 million only.
    He is now almost on a 2 billion Total but still missing PRs for 16 zones.

    Another PR for CoastalCrusher and another time it happened on Switch Back Shocker/29. He got 111,2 million and climbed from 14th onto 9th place (previous PR 103,9mil). He is now missing the Top-10 on only 2 zones. Those are Dam Buster/14 and On Ramp Onslaught/23.

    I oversaw a PR from NotYourCarNYC from 2 days ago. On Dangerous Curve/20 he got 75,8 million and entered the Top-25 on 12th place (previous PR 41,6mil).
    On the Overall Rankings he climbed from #23 to #21. It was his 4th PR since his comeback.

    Late night news with another PR today and another time it is done by mKrawnis. He got 126,7 million on Surf Shocker/21 during a crash-off and climbed from 7th onto 3rd place (previous PR 110,4mil). It is currently his 2nd Top-3 spot he is holding.
    This was also the 4th Top-3 spot happening within 6 days. 2 by CoastalCrusher, 1 by Mr. Vette and the one today by mKrawnis.
