Since almost 5 months LarviStar put over 1200 hours (timed) into Twilight Turmoil/25 using the 16-multi Supercar strategy! I am not sure if his plan right from the beginning was to get the World Record. But that is currently his goal and as of today his PR is 221,4 million, which would be ranked on the 2nd spot being only 14 million away from the WR (remember he is playing on the Dolphin Emulator).
Even if someone under normal circumstances can't really predict or force a new World Record, we sure thought that zones WR would be easier to beat, as Twilight Turmoil/25 in general wasn't a popular zone. But also, cause actually only 2 Crasher really tried to squeeze the Supercar strat. Maybe LarviStar is just unlucky, or it is just not the right time for the zone. Or he just is missing the last bit of luck cause the strat is also about getting the glitch as early as possible and the buses not getting too much airtime after the glitch, or bouncing into walls. Or a bus being barely missed to be sent spinning.
Maybe his grind can be put into perspective, that he got over 30 times a better score than the 7th ranked on the Top-25, which is CoastalCrusher with a 154,5 million score. And he also beat the best non-glitch score using the Supercar strat with a 121,9 million score. The best one before was a 115,4 million score by Crashfreak. The best score overall non-glitched, but using a 17 Multiplier strat, is a 129,5 million score by Slazzy from over 18 years ago.
Yesterday LarviStar only beat the 200 million mark for a third time and this is a list how his PR developed.

On September the 4th sparker599 got a huge 671,8 million glitch on Out of Control Tower/3 which made him enter the Top-25 on the 5th spot. His previous PR was already 10,5 years old (445,8mil). It is currently even his best ranked PR.
He also beat his PR on Glass Canyon/12 again and got 97,6 million (previous PR 92,3mil). On the Top-25 he climbed 1 spot from 17th onto 16th place. That score was done on September 29th.
And his last missing PR was done just 6 days ago. On Sprint Smash/17 he got 217,1 million and entered the Top-25 on the 8th spot (previous PR 176,9mil).
On the Overall Rankings he climbed from #19 to #17. On the Totals he almost added 300 million and beat the 4 billion mark, currently standing at $4,192,014,040. He is the 18th Crasher to beat the 4 billion mark, congratulation.
BoneCrasherMania1 got 224,9 million on Catch Up Chaos/24 and climbed 1 spot from 12th onto 11th (previous PR 222,5mil). Score was achieved on the 5th of October. It was already his 5th PR since his comeback.
And finally we come to the most recent PR, which was done by BurningICE 5 days ago. On Sprint Smash/17 he got 164,3 million. On the Totals he beat the 2,4 billion still missing PRs for 14 zones.

It is a 183,5 million score done on Ballistic Beach/15, which beats the 4 years old best Xbox 50hz video for that zone from Crashfreak (172,2mil).

And there is another PR for Glass Canyon/12 using the Coupe strat, which was done by NotYourCarNYC, who also was without a new PR since 3,5 years! He got a very good 141,7 million score, which made him enter the Top-25 on the 5th spot (previous PR 66,4mil).
But he even got a better PR! On Coastal Crush/2 he got 321,3 million with a unusual lucky working out scenario, which even missed all 3 buses left on the spot. He entered the Top-25 on the 3rd spot, which is even his best ranked PR now (previous PR 159,5mil). Both scores were done in August, on the 10th and 13th.
On the Overall Rankings he climbed from #26 to #21 and on the Totals he also got a big push from 3,668 billion to over 3,905 billion.
So with him, sparker599 and Assassin Sports we even got 3 Crasher being only 100 million or less away from beating the 4 billion mark on the Totals, that is some good news!
BoneCrasherMania1 also got 2 new PRs. On Head On Highway/30 he got 196,7 million and climbed from 15th onto the 9th spot (previous PR 170,7mil). On Twilight Turmoil/25 he got 154,2 million and climbed from 11th onto the 9th spot (previous PR 150,3mil). Those PRs he got on the 11th and 20th of August.

Already in June 23rd LEEK701X got 158,7 million on Head On Highway/30 and climbed from 22nd onto 19th place (previous PR 147,4mil).
That was enough to beat 6,2 billion on the Totals and there is now only 1 zone left for him, he isn't placed within the Top-20, that is Out of Control Tower/3.
And now i am happy to announce BoneCrasherMania1s comeback, as it already has been 6 years since his last PR. Some will remember he only played on the Dolphin Emulator, and since it was disallowed on the rankings, he was "forced" to stop crashing. He now got a original copy of the game and his first 2 non-emulator PRs he got on Glass Canyon/12 and on Heights Horror/27.
On Glass Canyon/12 he got 105,0 million and climbed from 23rd onto the 12th spot (previous PR 83,1mil). On Heights Horror/27 he got 102,4 million and reentered the Top-25 on the 15th spot (previous PR 94,7mil). Scores were done on July 16th and 18th. With both scores he got now all his PRs ranked within a Top-20.
Anthony Burnout improved his PR on Glass Canyon/12 for the 3rd time within a period of a little over a month and got 122,1 million. On the Top-25 he climbed from 9th onto the 7th spot (previous PR 113,1mil). Score was done on July 27th.
And another PR happened on Glass Canyon/12. Hey, the Coupe strat got quite popular within its short time of existence and already holds 5 spots on the Top-16. Now back to the score, sparker599 got 92,3 million and entered the Top-25 on the 16th spot (previous PR 62,7mil). That score was achieved on the 28th of July.
On the Overall Rankings he climbed from #20 onto #19 and on the Totals he beat the 3,9 billion mark.

The goal of Sinktober is to gather as many players as possible to dust down rankings for sink glitches. Last year was very eventful and productive, so let's try to beat the old scores that survived 2022!
The event will take place from October 1st to October 31st, so all scores must be achieved and submitted by 00:00 GMT on the last day.
I expect this year to be quieter than last year for various reasons, and the grand prix format was also a bit of a headache to maintain, so I decided to experiment with a different formula. This time around, there will be bounties for certain specific goals that I would like the community to reach. Some of them are very unlikely, but others… not so much! Anyone is welcome to add a bounty of their own for a goal that is not listed below, just DM me about it.
Bounties
– Zone 4: Break the 1 billion barrier.
– Zone 9: Break the 2 billion barrier.
– Zone 11: Break the 1 billion barrier.
– Zone 28: Break the 1 billion barrier.
– Achieve a new sink.
– Set a (new) PR on every zone.
Each bounty is worth 20 USD and will be granted through PayPal. Emulator scores are welcome because they can help in proving one of these goals is realistic, but the bounty will be cut in half since they can't be shown on the leaderboard, and the full recording session must be provided. The last bounty is limited to two people.
No sign-up is required, there is no order in which sinks should be done nor a minimum amount of sinks to perform. Just submit any score achieved over the month, tag @Vixen and @Brainkiller007 to have your video taken into account, and remember to have fun!

XtremePlays PR got 103,2 million on Glass Canyon/12 and climbed from the 16th onto the 12th spot (previous PR 89,5mil).
On the Overall Rankings he climbed another spot from #7 to #6 and on the Totals he is missing only 1,3 million to beat the 5,4 billion mark.
Crashfreak got 395,8 million on Rattlesnake Row/5 just minutes after the Crash-off on Saturday ended. On the Top-25 he climbed from 4th onto the 2nd spot back into the Top-3 (previous PR 372,5mil).
LEEK701X got 115,3 million on Heights Horror/27 and climbed from 9th onto the 7th spot (previous PR 109,3mil).

On Double Back Damage/28 he got 227,5 million taking the 13th spot, on Switch Back Shocker/29 he got 102,9 million and entered the Top-25 on the 17th spot, and on Head On Highway/30 he got 197,3 million taking the 8th spot.
On the Overall Rankings he climbed from #8 to #7 and on the Totals he beat the 5 billion mark and is already at a Total of $5,385,098,316.
By the way he is currently the 10th Crasher on the WCR to have a Total over 5 billion, congrats on that good run again.
And that's not all news already, on Pacific Peril/4 we got a new non-glitch World Record!
Crashfreak got 112,8 million and beat the 2 years and 3 months old record from Brainkiller007 by 15,9 million (96,9mil). That is already the 21st zone with a non-glitch record of over 100 million, and it looks like only 2 more zones could follow to beat that mark, those being Down Hill Demolition/1 and Ballistic Beach/15.

On the Overall Rankings he climbed from #9 to #8 and on the Totals he beat the 4,8 billion mark.
Nikcolin got 161,5 million on Head On Highway/30 and climbed 1 spot from the 18th to 17th spot.

Brainkiller007 got 221,6 million and beat the 18 years old World Record from Joe Crash by 42,9 million (178,7mil). He also beat the 13 months old best video for that zone by 59,5 million, which was a 162,1 million score by LEEK701X before (which was also the best Gamecube 60hz video beaten now).
On the Top-25 he climbed from the 7th onto the 1st spot (previous PR 118,2mil) and on the Totals he beat the 7,1 billion mark.
